パーントゥに厄落とししてもらいました笑

3年ぶりの宮古島のお祭りで泥だらけになりました国際金融アドバイザー大橋基史です

パーントゥは、沖縄県宮古島市の宮古島で行われる厄払いの伝統行事。仮面をつけた来訪神パーントゥが集落を回って厄をはらう。平良島尻と上野野原の2地区で行われているが、両地区で内容は異なっている。

1982年に両地区の行事が「宮古のパーントゥ」として選択無形民俗文化財に選択され、1993年に「宮古島のパーントゥ」として重要無形民俗文化財に指定されている。また、2016年には「来訪神：仮面・仮装の神々」のひとつとして国連教育科学文化機関(UNESCO)の無形文化遺産への登録が提案され、審査が先送りされたものの、2017年に再提案されて、2018年11月29日に登録が決定している。(Wikipediaより引用)

最初は近づいてきたら断固拒否するからいいやと思ってましたが、いざ会場に行ったらお祭り男の血が騒ぎ、気がついたら全身泥だらけ笑笑

そのままイタリアン行く予定でしたが、ホテル戻って外水道で泥を落としに戻ったのは言うまでもありません

This is Motofumi Ohashi, an international financial advisor who got muddy at the Miyakojima festival after 3 years

Pantu is a traditional event of exorcism held on Miyakojima in Miyakojima City, Okinawa Prefecture. Pantu, a visiting god wearing a mask, travels around the village and wards off evil. It is held in two districts, Hirara Shimajiri and Ueno Nohara, but the contents are different in the two districts.

In 1982, events in both areas were selected as Selected Intangible Folk Cultural Properties as ‘Miyako Paantu’, and in 1993 they were designated as Important Intangible Folk Cultural Properties as ‘Miyako Island Paantu’. In 2016, it was proposed to be registered as one of the “Raiho Gods: Gods in Masks and Costumes” on the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
